From the Gokturk inscriptions to the tales of Dede Korkut, from the Manas epic to the Koroglu narratives, Turkish folk literature explores themes of heroism, loyalty, and harmony with nature. After migrating to Anatolia, this tradition blended with Islamic elements to reach a new synthesis.
